Welcome to the Sigma Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at the University of Kansas
On November 11, 1874, the Gamma Phi Beta sorority was founded by Helen M. Dodge, Frances E. Haven, E. Adeline Curtis, and Mary A. Bingham at Syracuse University in New York. 41 years later, the Sigma chapter was established here at the University of Kansas.
For the last century, Gamma Phi Beta at the University of Kansas has provided a home away from home for collegiate women sharing values in love, labor, learning, and loyalty.
